About me

I live and work in the beautiful surroundings of North Wales.

I have worked within Public Sector organisations for over 20 years. I am experienced in strategic business planning, leadership and team management, change management and performance management to drive improvement, to develop teams and successfully achieve business outcomes.

I trained as an Executive Coach because I am passionate about growth, learning and development. I am experienced in coaching senior business leaders, managers and colleagues at all levels within an organisation. I have specialised in Wellbeing coaching because I understand Wellbeing is essential to being happy, healthy and performing well in work.

My personality type is Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging (INFJ) which is rare making up less than one percent of the population. As an Advocate my personality traits are to; help others create purpose in life, to act in line within my core values for equality through motivation, positivity, creativity, passion and empathy and to contribute to the Wellbeing of humanity. This means I have the right qualities and traits to be a great coach!

My Wellbeing

In today’s hectic world a good work-life balance is essential to our health and Wellbeing. In my life I achieve this by maintaining healthy relationships so I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. To achieve positive wellbeing I love to keep fit and active. I enjoy long walks along the beautiful hills and coastlines across North Wales.  I also stand up paddle board taking in the breath-taking scenery across various beaches and lakes. I like to keep physically active by running, working out in the gym and I practise Yoga.

To look after my mental health I practise mindfulness meditation. I keep my mind active by learning and developing my knowledge and skills. I attend various training events and conferences to remain up-to-date with coaching and leadership theories and strategies.

My Approach

I provide confidential and personalised one to one coaching in the form of face to face, telephone, or via skype. For face to face meetings I operate from various office bases across North Wales.

My client’s needs are always at the centre of my coaching. I pride myself on being a professional, positive, motivational and supportive.   Trust is a key component for coaching to work and I successfully build rapport quickly with clients. If at the first session we believe we are not a good fit we will mutually cease the relationship.

I use a range of evidence based theoretical coaching approaches such as; cognitive behavioural therapy, positive psychology, strengths based, solution and goal focused coaching. These are used appropriately depending on clients needs.

By undertaking a range of self- assessments, deep reflection and exploration, I help clients become aware of who they are. I support them to gain clarity, purpose and vision. We assess where they are in their life now, visualise where they want to be and identify the gaps and barriers they need to overcome to help them achieve their goals. These goals may be to change lifestyles, improve health and wellbeing, develop selves professionally, grow a business, or develop teams. I support clients to change their behaviours and create the right environment to sustain positive healthy lifestyles.

I use a range of strategies to change mindsets to be positive and alter clients thinking patterns to see things from a different perspective. By understanding our thoughts, feelings and behaviours we can recognise negative habits, thought patterns and internal dialogue that holds us back from achieving our goals. We can then adopt strategies that enable us to have a positive mindset. By being in control of thoughts, feelings and behaviours so we have confidence and focus to achieve our goals.

I focus clients on their strengths and achievements to build confidence and support them to embrace change and take on new opportunities so they achieve a happier lifestyle and successful business.

  • Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Level 7 (Master) Executive Coaching & Mentoring Diploma
  • Master of Science Degree in Management
  • ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
  • Higher National Certificate in Information Technology.

To give the best service to my clients I engage with regular supervision to  reflect on my practice and develop and grow as a coach.  I network with other coaches in peer supervision , attend regular development workshops and coaching conferences to extend my knowledge and skills.

Why I do what I do

I am passionate about improving my own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. Coaching enables me to support others to improve their quality of life by undertaking an individual holistic assessment of their current state of wellbeing, problem solving to identify a tailored holistic Wellbeing plan, identifying achievable goals that engages clients on their personal journey to reach and achieve their optimum health and wellbeing.

As a coach I will support you to become more aware of who you are, where you are in your life right now, help you to understand your thoughts and feelings, redefine your purpose, remove unhelpful mind-sets and behaviours that sabotage you and will help you to reignite your passion and motivation to change and lead a more fulfilled life.

What I do

I work with clients who are open minded, who are ready to change by undertaking a range of self assessments to increase your awareness and identify areas in which you want to achieve wellbeing goals. We will focus on your strengths, identify your challenges in life now and define clear goals.
